HAYLEY’S BIBLE BENDER:

My Bible bender came in the interesting comparison of Moses to Balaam. Susan made this comparison:

“When the Angel of the Lord appeared to Moses in the burning bush, he noticed the bush did not burn up and drew closer.

When the Angel of the Lord appeared to Balaam in the road, he didn’t notice or question why the donkey would not move forward. He was not in tune to the truth and therefore, in reality, was a spiritually blind prophet.”

Just that one example of the difference between the two men and their spirit toward God was pretty eye-opening to me and not one my mind would have instantly gone to. The point is made with that simple statement. Which one are you? Do you see what God is telling you? Are you in tune with God enough to listen and act on what he is telling you?

What was your Bible bender? Did you learn anything new?
