This episode covers Deuteronomy 34–the last chapter of the Torah! It is time to say goodbye to Moses before moving on to Joshua.
HAYLEY’S BIBLE BENDER:
This episode had a large Bible bender in it for me! All the speculation and one-off verses about Moses’ body and burial spot were so intriguing to learn about. I loved that the archangel Michael never answered Satan as he questioned about Moses’s burial location. I love how Susan brought together verses from Daniel, Jude, and Matthew to investigate this mystery further.
I had never considered why Moses was at the transfiguration. I love how the Pulpit commentary alludes that Moses is a representative of the law and Elijah was a representative of the prophets. Perhaps Michael couldn’t tell Satan where Moses was buried as he might have already been raised at that point. Oh, the questions I will have when I get to Heaven.
