How to start reading Genesis (even if you never have)

You don't need a seminary degree or a perfect quiet time. Here's the low-pressure way in.

If you've never read the Bible cover to cover, Genesis is the perfect place to begin — and not just because it's first. It's a book of beginnings, families, and promises, told as story.

Three tips for your first week

  1. Read a chapter, then listen. Let the episode fill in the context you missed.
  2. Don't stop to understand everything. Momentum beats mastery. Keep moving.
  3. Mark one verse a day. Just one. By the end of the season you'll have 39.

That's it. No pressure, no prep. Start with Genesis and let the reading carry you.
